Venus and Jupiter in Pisces
*reposting and elaborating on the last forecast as Venus and Jupiter are in exact degrees 18° sidereal Pisces, in Revati nakshatra.
A welcome and sweet shift in the sky (Feb 15-March 11, 2023): Venus moved into sidereal Pisces to join Jupiter, and are currently joined in exact degrees. These planets both operate well in Pisces as it helps them to access their higher expressions of love and trust, and supports the planets’ generous and uplifting sides. This combo loves to be in love and has high ideals for its connections. The current Venus-Jupiter conjunction is in the gentle sign of Revati, ruled by the deity Pushan the nurturer who safely leads of the flock. It’s a sign that cares for others, genuinely and without judgment. Having a strong connection to roads, Revati recognizes the importance of “journeying,” on all levels.
But the challenge Venus-Jupiter in Pisces faces is that it can have such high expectations that no human can live up to… and so can feel let down in love. As we are working closely with Venus and Jupiter right now, this is a chance for us to reflect upon our own journey in love and connection, our expectations and ideals. If we think of the recent New Moon’s energy as a healing/letting go of our stories combined with this planetary combo, it begs us to ask ourselves: how much of the challenges we may face in our relationships are because we have unrealistic expectations of the other - or perhaps of love in general? Are we hoping our partner will fill the void or heal the hurt that is really our work to do? Can we be more generous with our affection and support? Where are we on our own journeys with love and relationship? Are we living up to our own ideals of how we feel we can be in love?
This current Venus-Jupiter connection is a merging of the upper chakras (Jupiter) to the lower chakras (Venus). Perhaps we are now better able to embody this lovely Venus-Jupiter in Pisces energy and see others (and ourselves) as the transcendent beings we are having a 3D experience… and to love and appreciate all of our efforts even if we still have a ways to go.
