How often can I get a reading?
It is best to wait at least 4 months so you can give yourself time to listen to your initial reading. After this time period, it is up to you. If you have questions about a specific event coming up (like a marriage, a business opportunity, a major move) then we can do a reading at any point.

As long as you give 24 hours notice, then we can reschedule or cancel without a problem. There are automated reminders with cancellation links provided 48 hours in advance of your session. If you miss your reading or need to reschedule or cancel the day of, then you will be responsible for 50% of the reading cost. I hold myself to this policy as well; if I have to cancel within 24 hours, then I will refund you 50% of the reading cost. Please be ready for your reading at the scheduled time. Even if we start late, I will still have to end at the regular time.
How do I pay for a reading?
You pay for your session when you schedule it through the website scheduling app. There are PayPal buttons available if necessary.
What is Jyotish? Why are readings helpful? What are they used for?
Jyotish is commonly known as Vedic Astrology. It is an ancient and wise system from India and is a sister science to Ayurveda and Yoga. As Ayurveda is used for the Body and Yoga for the Soul, Jyotish is used for the Mind: to calm and soothe it, to help align it, and to give it clear direction and focus throughout life. The word “Jyotisha” in Sanskrit means “the science of light.” A Jyotish reading can be a truly enlightening event, helping a person to understand and thus better align with their gifts, talents, and personal four life motivations (dharma, artha, kama, and moksha). It can call attention to the timing of life events and the reasons for them. With its wonderful predictive techniques, Jyotish readings can help us to understand what planetary energies we are connecting with, when they will begin and end, and how best to manage these energies so we can fully engage in the opportunities life presents us.
When are readings helpful?
Readings are meant to support your personal and spiritual growth. They highlight your gifts, talents, and shadow side, and help you to understand your main life motivations. They are helpful in giving insight and guidance around lingering or burning questions you may have. A reading can help you understand your compatibility with a partner and what areas of the relationship will need focus and nurturing. Jyotish readings are useful in figuring out the appropriate timing of events such as: when to plan a wedding or other ceremony, get medical procedures done, launch a business venture, plan for pregnancy, decide when it is best to buy a house or move… Whatever you seek guidance around, a Vedic Astrology reading is always of great use.
What are the differences between Vedic Astrology and Western Astrology?
Jyotish is a lunar-based system whereas Western is a solar-based system. In addition to the 12 zodiac signs, Vedic Astrology has an additional 27 signs called “nakshatras,” meaning “lunar mansion,” which are based upon the Moon’s 28-day cycle. (There is an additional 28th sign that is used only in electional or mundane astrology, and not for personal readings). These 27 nakshatras are truly the heart and soul of Jyotish. They bring amazing depth and understanding to a reading, bringing with them different deities, motivations (dharma, artha, kama, moksha), Ayurvedic doshic inclinations (Vata, Pitta, Kapha), animals (people tend to look like their predominant animal – a mouse, a monkey, a snake, a rabbit…), additional planets they connect with, remedies to mitigate planetary ills… the list goes on and on. The nakshatras also are responsible for the “dasha” system, a predictive tool used to figure out appropriate timing for life events, which is unique to Jyotish. Vedic Astrology also has a number of divisional charts all based on mathematical calculations from the birth chart which add depth of understanding to various areas of life (like health, marriage, children, finances, vehicles, siblings, happiness…). Jyotish uses the sidereal zodiac (which NASA also uses) which accounts for the Precession of the Equinoxes. Western astrology, which uses the tropical zodiac, does not account for this. Therefore, in a Jyotish chart, all of the planets from your Western chart will go back about 23 degrees from your Western chart due to the Precession to align with where the planets are in the sky against the backdrop of the constellations. This can sometimes move a person’s sign back a whole sign. Jyotish has a wealth more information beyond the 12 zodiac signs (which are still used) because of the additional 27 nakshatras we gain, specific to this ancient and wise system.
Are you psychic?
Vedic Astrology has rules to be followed and planets to be honored. Answers to questions are based upon the chart, not my own opinions or feelings about a situation. However, a reading will almost always include some empathic or intuitive guidance that comes through either before or during the reading. I tend to hear, see, and feel things in my body, which turns out to be incredibly significant for the individual receiving the reading. A few examples: I frequently hear songs which are important to the individual – not something I recently listened to; I have seen images of rooms or places and have been able to give specific details; I have also felt pains or twinges in my body or seen “sparkles” around organs needing attention for the client. These intuitive or empathic hits are always supported by the chart with the exception of the songs, the significance of which the client recognizes immediately. Much like the discipline required in the personal practice of meditation, the more one enters into a sacred space such as Jyotish, the more the intuition builds. Jyotishis (Vedic Astrologers) understand that leaving the space for spirit to guide is critical to all readings. That being said, the chart is always what we consult for answers. The intuitive guidance comes from the space we enter into together in the session.
What People Are Saying
For years, all I’ve thought about and thought about and thought about was, “Why am I here?” and “What am I suppose to be doing?” “There’s got to be more!” Thanks to your Vedic Astrology reading, everyday I get closer and closer to fulfilling my purpose. Defining a major part of me has had a tremendous impact on my life. All I can say is Thank You for the clarity, direction, the focus and the awareness. Love and light to you always.

How very important to me to have met Lexie at this time. Her abilities are truly amazing. Everything she said was pertinent and necessary for me to hear. Sometimes we need to need to know, from others, that what we perceive is really a possibility. At an extreme low in my life, she’s brought me some peace and a renewed belief in myself and in the Universe.
