May 23, 2024 at 9:53am ET Full Moon Anuradha 8°43 sidereal Scorpio: Connection Leads to Strength
This Full Moon is in a beautiful degree of sidereal Scorpio called Anuradha, whose name means “bright star” or “one who brings success”, and whose driving motivations are to calmly persevere and to be a supportive friend. It is ruled by Mars and Saturn, so having a plan and taking slow but steady action are its fortes.
Sound familiar?
This has been the theme of the last few months. The planets have been lining up encouraging us to create structure and follow through. This Full Moon in the friendship star is driving home the other major celestial message of the moment: find a friend to collaborate with, check in on, and keep each other on track.
With so many unsupported Moon days lately and so much Saturn coloring the sky the last few years, many have been turning away from help and even from connecting with friends. Self-reliance is a wonderful Saturnian strength; vulnerability is not. This Full Moon is special: it’s considered unsupported (which can make us feel a bit lonely) but it is being boosted up by the great benefics: Jupiter and Venus, both in the solid sign of Taurus, are sitting across from it cheering it on. We are being asked to find strength in the connections we have with others, to be brave and share ourselves and our plans, and to link arms with people we know can hold space for us, will encourage us and will have our backs.
Anuradha’s symbol of the lotus blossom reminds us that blooming takes time... and that we are still capable of flowering even when we feel we’ve been stuck in the mud or confused by the cloudy waters. Planets have shifted in the sky recently giving us more support, vision and joy, but it was murky and challenging for some time. This Full Moon lets us know we’ve broken through and it’s time to start blooming.
🌸What still seems murky?
🌸Who has supported you? In what ways?
🌸When have you been the support?
🌸What is showing potential for more growth?
🌸What “buds and flowers” are you excited to tend to?
🌸Can you look back and see all you’ve been through and where you’re going?
:::PEACE:::
