Mars Retrograde Oct 30-Jan 12, 2023: Time to Slow Down and Uproot to Replant

Mars is going retrograde Oct 30 until Jan 12, 2023. Mars does not like to be retrograde! Expect frustration and tantrums. Try to remember through this challenging time (and there’s *more to it than just Mars) that retrogrades give us a chance to review what we’ve been taking action on (Mars = action), and it is time to slow down, review our plans, shift gears and maybe even change direction.

Since we are moving back on Nov 13 into sidereal Taurus, an earth sign that likes to have its feet planted firmly on the ground, think of this time like a garden where you now know from a season of growing that a plant will do better in a different spot. So now is our chance to uproot and replant in order to thrive.

It can be difficult to make bold changes and to re-acclimate, but if we have the patience and take the appropriate and thoughtful steps (not hurried or with irritation), we can get there.

ps: Mars is famously low on patience! So this will not be easy for those who like fast action and fast results. Everything will require review and reconsideration.

*There’s a lot going on the last part of the year, although much of it is beneath the surface and not visible just yet. Think of it as a time of internal churning and the New Year will bring opportunities for new outward expression.

::PEACE::
