Mars goes Direct
This is a post I made on my instagram and facebook accounts with a video explaining what's going on with Mars right. Links for the video are below.
Feb 23, 2025: Mars is going direct! It will remain in sidereal Gemini until April 2 when it shifts into sidereal Cancer, where it will then stay until June 6, 2025. Mars connects to courage, action, energy, activism. It’s also the hotheaded planet that brings us anger, frustration and fights. Mars creates friction for growth or change. If you want to move quickly, you need Mars on your side. But it’s been retrograde since early December 2024 (and was also in its debilitated sign then), causing a pause in forward movement, and making us question and rethink actions we were taking. Now that it’s moving forward again and we’ve had some time for reflection, we can expect things to move quickly over the next few weeks.
My read on the larger 9 month transit Mars has been making between Gemini and Cancer since end of August 2024 until early June 2025: we’re being worked over to make sure our minds connect to our hearts — that the things we’re doing, thinking, creating, putting our energy and action behind actually align with our hearts. What’s the saying? “The longest journey is often from mind to the heart.” That’s where we are now.
