Full Moon Rohini: Let Love Rule / Honor the Temple Within

There will be Full Moon Wednesday, Dec. 7, 23:08 p.m. eastern time in the beautiful sign of Rohini, whose name means “the red one” and is connected to the red eye of the bull in the constellation of Taurus. The Moon is exalted in this sign, meaning its qualities of kindness, caring and creation are easily expressed. Its deity is Brahma the Creator, and is ruled by Venus and the Moon and so has the shakti or power of creation. Its symbols are the chariot and the temple, reminding us of importance of the journeys we are on, both on the physical and spiritual planes. This sign has a strong sense of self and values security, comfort and wellbeing. As above, so below… what a welcome sign for the final Full Moon of 2022 as these energies will be more easily accessed at the moment.

But the Moon (emotions/heart/mind) is often connecting with other planets, and so is almost never without a challenge or tension to process and digest. This time, it’s directly negotiating with Mars (action/impulse) and the Sun (the soul/ego), and indirectly with Rahu (karma/chaos) - all considered to be “malefics” as they can either deviously “stir the pot” or sincerely ignite our passions, act on impulse or encourage us to leap to another’s aid, have brilliant vision or rascally ideas.

Remember: friction helps to create change and growth, and that is exactly what this planetary interplay is about. How we act/interact during this Full Moon time will show us how well developed these planetary qualities are within us. Some questions to consider:

*Will we find the courage within and embrace the loving offering of this Full Moon, or will we defer to the shadow side of Rohini, which can show up as be never being satisfied?

*Will we lean towards taking action steps towards establishing more security and calm in our lives, or will we disrupt those areas because we don’t feel deserving of them or because all we’ve known is mental/emotional chaos and so stability is too foreign to embrace?

*Will we engage without attachment to the outcome and move forward with love and forgiveness, or will the fear the ego creates lead?

*Will we honor the temple within?

::PEACE::
