Venus in sidereal Gemini, Sun and New Moon move into sidereal Taurus at the same time: Rest, Release, Have Fun!

There is a lot of planetary movement going on today and tomorrow (May 14-15). Venus, the planet of love and relationships, shifted today into interested and often times flirty Gemini, giving us all the itching to get out, connect and have fun. However Venus’ excitement-seeking energy may take a few days to kick in since we will be busy processing the other shifts going on. Just as Venus shifts signs, the Sun is also shifting into sidereal Taurus at the same time we have a New Moon occurring in the same sign. This much shifting above creates movement - and some chaos - below on the earth plane. It can also create a bit of exhaustion, so take extra care these days as we transition into these new energies. Life of the party Venus in Gemini will kick in soon enough.

The New Moon in Krittika, a sharp degree sidereal Taurus, will occur on Tuesday, May 15 at 7:48am eastern time. Krittika is Sanskrit for the “cutter” and is considered to be a leader, one who is able to make tough executive decisions. Because of its current connection to Ketu, this is a time to make those necessary changes, even if it means letting go of old bonds that are coming up for release. Once we are able to say “namaste” to the old, we can welcome the new and blaze forth on our new trail.
