We are shifting again, everyone! Expect short fuses and little spats to come up over the next few days. Ardra is a fierce sign - it can feel rough and unkind (more on this below). During tense times with planets moving (like now), there can be some cutting words coming your way or coming out of your mouth. These are the days to take a deep breath, think twice before you speak or respond - and maybe wait a few days before having a deeper conversation.
Misunderstandings tend to be heightened the 5 days before and after Mercury shifts (either into being retrograde or going direct as it is now). Keep this in mind into early next week.
Here’s a funny story that may help you get the energy of the day as we approach Mercury shifting out of being retrograde:
All day long, my kids have been making up hypothetical scenarios (and totally ridiculous), asking each other what they would do in each situation. When one would answer, the other would immediately disapprove of the response, get angry and accuse the other of not loving them, how mean they were, and how they can’t believe they have to be brother and sister for the rest of eternity... Remember: these scenarios don’t exist IRL! It’s been about an hour since they’ve gone at it, so I’m sure another mini cat fight will explode in a few more minutes. Mercury retrograde shifting direction is showing up in a silly way in our house today!*
Of course, this planetary shift can be more intense and hurtful for some. Ardra is an intense and passionate sign. It can even be critical and cutting. However, if you are able to sit with it and find out what is going on beneath the surface (key: in a few days!), there are likely deeper issues there. Ardra directly connects to endings and even to death... and so fear will probably be lying beneath these little explosions of anger.
It’s worth reiterating: Deep breaths the next few days. If we can explore what ideas, manners and ways of communicating are up for ending, this would be an excellent expression for this Mercury going direct.
