MARS-RAHU CONJUNCT / OPPOSITE SATURN-KETU
The sky is very intense right now as multiple planets line up together and in opposition to each other. The energies have been amplifying since last week, and this week (especially June 12, 14 and 17) is explosive and even dangerous. On the flip side, it can bring about massive transformations. It’s a time to be mindful and cautious, but to dig deep and embrace the up-leveling that’s been showing up for you.
Mars and Rahu come together in exact degrees on the 12th with Mercury and Sun not far behind. These planets are change-makers on their own, and when they conjoin, they can create explosions – literally and emotionally. But these planets together are the alchemy planets and so creating “gold” - or fireworks - is what we ought to focus on.
They are in degrees of Gemini called Punarvasu, meaning “good again” in Sanskrit. We are being given an opportunity this week to “fix” something from the past, especially as Saturn and Ketu come into the mix later in the week. The Gemini-Sagittarius connection suggests we turn to reading, writing, spirituality, mindset and pranayama (breathwork) as our vehicles for change.
When the planets move into challenging placements as they are now, on a personal level it’s really about us dropping the old story, the ego, the drama… and doing our best to step up into the best versions of ourselves. However, many people don’t like to be challenged and uncomfortable, to have to go deep within, or to change their ways, and so they can misbehave, so to speak.
This week is a wild one. Keep focusing on the breath, on being present. Keep focusing on your goal. You do you, and don’t let the emotions and reactions of others get to you. They may be kicking the wall with frustration at having to change.
