Full moon in Purva Phalguni: March 9th at 13:48 eastern
Purva Ashadha, the degree of sidereal Leo the moon is in, is a super fun sign. It likes to dress up and go out on the town. It likes to gather with friends and have a good time. It loves life and wants to celebrate it. Its healing side is activated by this kind of celebration and connection. It’s ruled by Venus and simply needs these things to thrive. Doing what you truly LOVE, what makes you feel ALIVE and JOYFUL is what this moon is all about.
However... this moon is unsupported and is being aspected by Jupiter and Ketu. This is an interesting combination since the inclination of this moon is to trust and be open. The challenge of this full moon is it starts to fear and have doubts. It can be swayed by others if it doesn’t take time to connect with the things that make it happy — make US happy.

The connections this moon is making reminds us of our healthy boundaries, of being true to our individual sense of fun and what it means to thrive. Unsupported moons don’t necessarily get all the support they normally receive so don’t expect everyone to go along with you. It’s ok. Go for it anyway.
So interesting this full moon comes along at a time when the world is being quarantined. Even if you are taking precautions, this moon reminds us so much of life is about healthy connections and having fun. Don’t forget who you are and do the thing that makes your soul sing.

PS: Mercury also goes direct on the evening of the 9th and will likely stirs up some old issues. Stay centered and “swastha: situated in the self.”
